Considered by many as the performance bat for all kinds of hitters, the CF Series baseball bats from DeMarini have never failed to deliver speed, power and balance.
To get a better feel of what the DeMarini CF8 can do, imagine this.
You’re walking out to the plate. Everyone’s eyes are on you. The pitcher, your nemesis, studies your every stride then spits to punctuate his low opinion of you.
Your coach smiles encouragingly even though the artery at the back of his neck looks like it’s about to burst. Mom and Dad proudly shout out your name, affirming that they are, as always, with you whether you stand or fall humiliatingly flat on your stupid face.
The girl you’re madly in love with glances up briefly from her phone to wave before diving back into her Twitter. Even your teammates sisters takes a breather and watches you intently.

The pressure builds as you reach the plate—to the point where the world seemingly begins to move in slow motion. So that when you pound your DeMarini CF8 BBCOR on the baseball field, the sound it makes echoes into infinity.
This rattles the pitcher.
But he is committed and, like you, a true athlete and competitor. Accepting that there is nothing he can do to change his fate, he throws the ball at you—hard. And you swing…POW!
Pandemonium erupts as the ball sails out of the field.
Amid deafening cheers, you unhurriedly jog around the diamond, savoring every second before reaching home base where your teammates hug you, your coach hugs you, your parents hug you, and your girlfriend takes a picture of you to put on her tweet.
Ignored by everyone, the bat boy reverently picks up your DeMarini CF8 BBCOR baseball bat and dusts it off before handing it to you.
Now sitting on the shoulders of your wildly ecstatic team, you take the bat—the incredible, remarkable, powerful tool that has changed your life forever—and lift it triumphantly into the heavens, its carbon fiber barrel glistening in the afternoon sunlight.

Does the DeMarini CF8 BBCOR perform just as well in reality? Check!
Okay, maybe the glistening barrel was a bit too much. And the girlfriend. (Yes, you’re too busy with baseball to have one, right?)
But we, however, are not exaggerating about the hitting power of the bat, nor the ease of its swing, nor its reputation.
Let’s take a detailed look at the features of the DeMarini CF8 BBCOR DXCFC and see why it has been called a game-enhancer.
Demarini CF8 DXCFC Features
-
First off is its 2-Piece Construction. Also known as Half & Half, this innovation is what made DeMarini an authority in bats.
How it works is that, upon impact, the 2-piece bat flexes then recoils with a burst of ball-launching energy.
Aside from making the bat virtually indestructible, it also redistributes weight for optimal balance, leading to faster swings with less effort.
-
Next is its 100% Paradox +Plus Composite Design and Barrel.
Using the same premium composite material that has made the 2015 CF7 BBCOR one of the best bats ever, the CF8’s modified design not only reduces break in time, but also offers a lighter yet stronger barrel.
It delivers unbelievable swing balance for that maximum pop—increasing both speed and distance on the field.
-
The bat also features a ThermoFused Taper that keeps the energy in the barrel where it belongs.
-
New and improved from last year, the D-Fusion 2.0 Handle reduces unwanted vibration by taking the extra energy generated by the previous features and redirecting it right back to the sweet spot.
This results in a trampoline effect within the barrel walls that significantly adds to the distance of your hits.
-
The Low Pro End Cap further enhances balance by ensuring there’s no extra weight at the end of the bat, giving the entire bat an optimized feel.
Together with the carbon fiber barrel, this end cap also produces that sweet contact sound at the moment of impact.
-
With DeMarini, even the bottom of the bat is in fact a feature—the RCK Knob.
This Really Cool Knob provides a very comfortable grip and eliminates much of the pain and blisters commonly associated with hours of batting practice.
The DeMarini CF8 BBCOR DXCFC is a Dream Come True
Once more, their company’s insane dedication to performance has led to another madly received breakthrough—their most powerful, lightest-swinging and most comfortable bat yet.
A lot of people have been raving about how it is a dream to use—the immediately noticeable smoother swing and balance compared to other bats, as well as the great amount of pop achieved from just a little contact.
The Demarini CF8 BBCOR reviews also say how it is forgiving on mishits and how it has to be the top performance bat for the year. One goes on to say that the 2016 DeMarini CF8 BBCOR is what a bat should feel like.
These are not exaggerations but expressions of what they feel. Because the spark behind all that praise is just the fulfillment of DeMarini’s promise of providing power to the player.

Conclusion on This CF8 BBCOR Bat
Simply put, if you’re a good player, you’ll do great.
And if you’re already great, then you will simply be awesome—reason enough for coaches, parents and girlfriends to get excited watching you at bat.

I haven’t seen one on the field yet but all the previous models were great!
jeff
So far I’m seeing 5/5 stars online. Yeah, the CF8 was awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing more opinions on this model.

How does the CF 8 compare to the Louisville slugger 916????
jeff
The CF8 is my #1 choice for 2016 after reviewing all the main top tier bats.
I’ve also reviewed the 916 and it’s getting great customer reviews though!
I still give the CF8 the edge because it’s the best performing bat…and it looks the best too!

I’ve come upon a great price for a brand new bbcor CF6. 100$ to be exact. Is the newer model that much better to justify the extra hundreds of $
jeff
Hi CG – If you feel good about the price of the CF6 then go for it. The CF7 is better and the CF8 is current.
The only thing you need to consider is that the CF6 is over two years old as far as bat technology goes. There are always improvements to bat models each year.
I know it’s more expensive but in my opinion the players with the newer technology have an advantage.

My son just turned 14, he is 5’5″ and 105 lbs. He likes this bat so much. What size bat do you think I should get? I read a lot about this bat being lighter.
jeff
SS,
Per his height and weight I would opt for either the 31 or 32 inch bat.
