If you look online for baseball bats, you’ll probably be overwhelmed by the number of choices that are available. Trying to figure out which one is right can be daunting.
However, there’s no need on your part to sweat it as we have prepared a list of the best bbcor bats 2015. While some may prefer one over the other, you can expect a major improvement in your batting average with any of these.
#1
2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat
This five star bat from DeMarini is absolutely my favorite for 2015.
One of the top 2015 bbcor bats today, the CF7 is most notable for the -3 length/weight ratio and its RCK knob.
As the bat’s ratio and the barrel’s size gives it a superior hitting zone that other baseball bats cannot match.
The CF7 may not seem that much different from other bats in terms of style, but you’ll notice the difference the moment you take a swing.
A lot has been made about the way the bat maximizes a player’s swing. That’s completely justified as comparisons between the CF7 and other bats indicate that you get more power here.
But it’s not just due to the barrel or the handle, as it also has to do with the balance of this bat.
Simply put, the balance on the CF7 puts to shame all those on lesser bats. In short, the CF7 manages to combine, energy, comfort and flexibility, no mean feat for an affordable bat.

2015 Marucci Cat 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat MCBC614
The reason why the Marucci Cat 6 is considered one of the best 2015 bbcor baseball bats is it really helps you swing a lot faster and more accurately.
For a long time that’s been like the Holy Grail of bbcor bats. To provide power and balance is essential, and the Marucci does a good job with it.
The uniquely designed barrel design also goes a long way towards helping the player hit accurately and powerfully. This is something that’s difficult to do with other baseball bats.
The large sweet spot on the Cat 6 is well-known, and it certainly lives up to the hype.
However, this Cat 6 isn’t a one-trick pony as it’s got other features that set it apart from other bats, most notably the anti-vibration.
Now you’ve probably heard a lot of bats have this feature, but as you probably noticed, they don’t work.
The Cat 6 is a notable exception however, as it really is vibration free. There’s no need to worry about getting jammed as you can still go for that big swing each time.

2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Bat
No discussion of drop 3 bbcor baseball bats is complete without mentioning Easton. They’re well-known for producing some of the best baseball bats in the business.
The 2015 Mako is certainly no exception.
It has got the trademark Easton big barrel that allows for solid hitting. It’s also got the ergonomic design makes it very comfortable to hold as well.
This is actually one of the problems players have with baseball bats. They tend to wear you down after a while, but Easton did a nice job with the handle on the Mako.
It’s not just the handle though, as the 2015 Mako has a very sleek, streamline design that makes it very comfortable to hold.
It also doesn’t take a lot of effort to get the power out when you swing. There’s none of that jarring feel you get with lower quality bats.
And considering the fact that the bat is very durable, it’s a pleasant surprise to know the Eaton is quite light.
#4
2015 Easton MAKO TORQ BBCOR Baseball Bat BB15MKT
The Mako Torq has some traits that it shares with the other Easton, particularly the sweet spot. It’s not a clone. For one thing, the Torq has a 360 degree handle that lets you make a full swing.
This is probably something you’re not used and probably seems odd, but it actually works. As anyone who’s handled this bat will tell you, the Torq makes a huge impact in terms of the swing accuracy.
But the changes are not limited to the handle as it is also apparent in the barrel as well. What this means is when you swing, there’s full power behind it. Whatever effort you put in it is transferred to the barrel.
Even if you don’t fully grasp the science behind it, what it means is that no energy or movement is wasted when you swing.
#5
Finally, there’s the 2015 Mizuno Generation. It’s been singled out for its unique barrel design that enables the hitter to swing with more power.
There are a lot of powerful bats available true, but the Mizuno has upped the ante because of its patented barrel design that ensures the ball is hit hard and square.
Mizuno has always been known for its powerful bats, and this one is certainly no exception.
It isn’t the type that will break with a hard swing, and the handle is made from aerospace grade aluminum.
This not only makes it powerful but also comfortable on the hands, and there’s balance here too.
As has often been pointed out by high school and collegiate players, balance is something that they’ve often struggled with as bats frequently become harder to handle the harder it is swung.
That isn’t going to be an issue with the Mizuno however. The Digi-Grip keeps it in your hands without being a burden to carry around.
Just like the other baseball bats featured here, the Mizuno has anti-vibration properties that helps keep the player focused on making the big hit.
If you check the price here and see this bat for $49.95 or so, you are getting a great deal because the suggested retail price was originally over $199! That’s 70% off!
Conclusion on the Best BBCOR Bats 2015
As to which of these five baseball bats is the best, it’s a matter of personal preference. Even if you cannot try them all, you can just settle for any one, as they’re all built to last and bbcor certified.
Lesley
Excellent review of these bbcor bats. You’ve made choosing between the top selling ones very easy.
jeff
Thank you Lesley! I appreciate it. It’s always hard choosing but these are definitely the current top 2015 models to get especially if you play high school, college or travel ball.

I heard the 2015 Combat Portent G3 was supposed to be a top bat
jeff
That is a cool bat and I like that it’s one piece but as of right now I don’t have it in my top 5.
Kale
Have you taken any swings with the Combat Portent G3? What don’t you like about it?
jeff
I have not personally swung the Combat G3. Do you like that bat the best for this season? What do you like about it?
Jessee James
I have not swung a bbcor cf7 yet but I hear it’s a good bat I really do like my little brothers non bbcor cf7 though. However, I do not think that the cat 6 should be on the list our varsity at our high school uses a cat 6 I i just don’t see any thing special about I mean sure it’s a solid bat as is my Marucci black 2 but there just seems to be nothing special about them.
I myself am not a fan of any of the makos I hadnone which was depressing because it has no pop I thought perhaps mine was just an anomaly or an exception but one friends mako cracked another’s just doesn’t have any pop and the third one has a torq and finds no pop and the handle useless as we should not let it change the game (YES HE KNOWS HOW TO USE THE HANDLE)
I do believe that the Louisville select 715 or select 915 should have been on the list I myself have the select 715 and it is by far the best bat I have ever had as it has no vibration and an extreme amount of pop it is a power hitters bat and I am a contact hitter and I would still recommend to anyone contact or power hitter it’s a great and the below is not a bad bat with a fairly cheap price tag
jeff
Jessee – Thank you for your thoughts. I still think the Cat 6 is a really solid choice especially for the price point. I personally know a ton of players who’ve bought one in the last month or so.
I will definitely check out more Louisville Slugger bats like you suggest.
Jessee James
This is one of the best lists I have seen for 2015 bbcor bats though.
jeff
Thank you! I keep it updated every week.
Jessee James
Yes I do not think I mentioned it but like you said they are a solid line of bats which look good and even if you are not in love with the bat it’s still a solid choice that can not go horribly wrong
Jason Flesher
My 14 year old Son was in the market for a new Bat, and after reading your List, We decided to go with the Cat6. We also Looked at the CF7 Model, But my Son felt that the Cat6 had a better feel for him personally, And with a pretty substantial price difference between the two, Cat6 was a Good Buy for us. Thanks for composing the list and giving us your insight! Can’t wait to see my boy unwrap some baseball with his new weapon of choice!
jeff
Hi Jason – The Cat 6 is still a great bat and will be for all of the 2016 season. Let me know how this bat performs for your son.
Joey
My son swung the cf7 for past two seasons on middle school ball. And I nor he have any complaints. This year he wants to move up an inch or two and the first bat I purchased to try is the cat6.
Not I’m not sure why the guy above isn’t impressed with it but my son loves it and it saves me a couple hundred lol. He hit in the cage and couldn’t wait to get to the field with it.
I took him to our school and he dropped the barrel more cleanly more often then he ever has the cf7. He’s only bounced one over with the cf7.
He hit fence twice, bounced 3 over, and hit one out. This was just BP but as I said he’s impressed with the cat 6 as am I. He can’t wait for his 8th grade year now, and just finished 7th grade today haha.
Loved the reviews. It’s why I even tried the cat6. Spot on for us!!!!
