It’s easy enough to choose the Easton brand when you’re buying quality baseball gloves, but it’s not always so easy to pinpoint the best Easton baseball gloves.

Easton Professional Collection

This is Easton’s premium line of high quality gloves.
If you’re looking for the best Easton baseball glove and you don’t care about the price, this is the series of gloves you choose from.
Here you have gloves and mitts for catchers, infielders, pitchers, 1st basemen, and outfielders.
So what makes them worth the $230 price tag?
Part of the reason for that price is that it combines premium kip leather (which is as strong as premium steer hide, but much lighter) and their own Syntec Hide.
For your comfort and to provide greater control, it’s been oiled (by hand, even) and it also features sheepskin lining.
There’s also a molded pad at the back of the hand, and it comes with padded pinky and thumb loops.
There are differences of course among the gloves for various positions. The Easton outfield gloves measure 12.75 inches, just like the first base mitt.
The catcher’s mitt is obviously larger, and you can pick between 33.5 and 34.5 inches. The sizes of the infielder’s glove are 11.25, 11.5, and 11.75 inches.
There’s also a special infield/pitcher glove with an I-web, but the normal pitcher’s glove has a closed web.
Essentially, what you have here is a glove that a pro won’t be embarrassed to use for a playoff game.
It’s very light, it offers support in the precise areas your hand needs most, and it will last you for a very long time.

This line is one of the top series that Easton makes.
It uses steer hide leather combined with the high quality Japanese reserve leather, but there are good reasons for that.
Like the premium Easton Mako Limited Edition, it also uses the vaunted Syntec Hide that’s just as strong as leather but has only a third of the weight.
This combination of material is called the Hyperlite design, and it’s engineered to boost your reaction time and hand speed. It basically mimics how your hand moves without a glove.
It’s not just the leather that’s durable, it’s virtually everything.
The pro-grade rawhide leather laces feature a 100-pound tensile strength, and it has doubled up lacing.
These features will minimize the chances of a lace break even after an extended period of time catching hard throws.
The infield glove offers medium depth so you can transfer it more easily to your throwing hand to get your double play.
The outfielder version comes with a deeper pocket, so it can secure a fly ball instead turning it into a double.
- Wide/deep pocket design

Basically, catching the baseball becomes so much easier, and yet you remain comfortable.
This time the Easton infield glove sizes range from 11.5 to 12 inches, so if you have bigger hands then you may even prefer the Mako Comp over the Core Series.
Also, the catcher’s mitt is only available at 34 inches.

Mako Youth Mitts
This line shows the brand’s commitment to providing quality equipment to even its younger customers.
It’s not that expensive at $65 (the catcher’s mitt is $70), and that’s explained by the use of thinner cowhide so that the glove is lighter for younger players.
But it is also oil-tanned and soft, so it remains very flexible even for smaller hands. It also uses synthetic polyurethane to balance the gloves and to add more weight savings.
There’s no specialized Easton 1st base mitt here, however.
You have an 11-inch infielder’s glove with an H-web, as well as an infielder/pitcher hybrid with an open I-web.
The outfielder’s glove measures 12 inches, and the catcher’s mitt is 31 inches.
Z-Flex Youth Series
These are for very young players, with its sizes ranging from 9 to 11 inches.
The gloves in this line only differ in size and colors, as you can either get the regular tan gloves or the festive blue and red gloves that very young kids like.
They’re designed for comfort, as it uses very soft leather. It also has elastic straps.
But they can catch balls easily with the closed web design and the easy-to-close palm design. These come in at about $30.
- This glove is designed for the ring finger and little finger to share the last finger slot to give the youth player more leverage when closing the glove
- It has three finger stalls because the ring finger and pinky finger are supposed to share the last finger slot
