There Is a Newer Model of This Item: The DeMarini CF8.
If you’re seriously considering buying the product, however, you need to know what the features are and what people who purchased the product are saying about it specifically.
Unless you’re familiar with the features, you won’t know what to expect.
Features of the DeMarini CF6
There are a lot of impressive features on the DeMarini 2014 CF6 WTDXCFC BBCOR, but the most important is definitely the 2 Piece D-Fusion handle, as it improves the feel of the bat without compromising performance.
In fact the handle helps deliver superior performance, something other baseball bats in its class cannot match. As many baseball aficionados will tell you, the way a bat handles makes a huge difference when it comes to performance.
Unless the baseball bat has the right feel, it will be uncomfortable to hold and affect the grip.
It’s also worth noting that the handle is carbon Reinforced Paradox Composite so that it is stiffer than others. This was a deliberate choice in the design as it allows for smoother and faster energy transfer between the ball and barrel.
A lot of thought went into this particular development and it shows.
Additional Top of the Line Features
The baseball bat also comes with a patented Thermo Fused taper which improves the sweet spot. It does so by propelling the ball when struck, at the same time restricting the feedback on the hands.
This is a feature that many baseball players will no doubt appreciate as it reduces the pressure on the hands.
The bat also uses Paradox Composite, as it is shaped in a way that allows it to perform better than other baseball bats. In addition, the half and half construction provides fine tuning and weight advantages over other baseball bats.
There are obviously a lot of new features on the CF6, and they’re very different from the stuff you see in ordinary baseball bats. But the beauty of it is they weren’t just thrown together to give the impression that it has new features.
Each one has been carefully scrutinized and integrated so they work as one. This is best seen with the Paradox Composite and the Thermo Fused Taper, as the Taper improves the Paradox by adding balance so the energy it holds remains in place, right in the barrel.
Pros and Cons
Based on the feature set alone, the CF6 is definitely one of the better baseball bats out there, but like all products it has pros and cons.
Pros
- Balanced
- Very responsive
- Improves hitting
- Durable
- Well made
Cons
- The design takes some getting used to
- A bit noise is generated when you hit the ball hard
What Customers Say
It’s very easy for a company of course, to issue one statement after another saying how great their product is. What would really set them apart are reviews and testimonials from people who bought and reviewed the product.
And that is where the CF6 makes a difference, because like the Easton xl1 bbcor, the CF6 has received a lot of positive reviews.
For instance, Corinna O’Saben said that the bat is very effective and does what it should, improve hitting.
Wayne gave it a four star rating, noting how easy it was to break in. The same sentiment was echoed by Connie Poorman, who also added that the baseball bat is very balanced.
Additional First Rate Reviews
Other reviewers have expressed complete satisfaction with the way the bat helps them hit the ball further. Another reviewer, Mason, said that the bat provides more than just a little bit of extra power to your hitting.
Long time baseball aficionados have also given nothing but positive feedback concerning the technology. As Danny of Houston, Texas said, the D Fusion handle has eliminated the vibration that one gets when striking a ball hard.
These testimonials on Amazon are similar to the ones that have been reported elsewhere, that the bat is very responsive and balanced. Overall the impression created by the reviews is that the CF6 does a great job in improving hitting.
Not only do you get to hit the ball harder, but the bat is durable too. Even if you hit hard, it’s not going to break in two like the case with other poorly constructed bats.
Finally, practically all the reviews online have agree that the CF6 offers great value for the money. Its built, power and durability are at par with more expensive bats, making it a real bargain.
Conclusion on the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR
The CF6 is an exceptionally well made baseball bat, and it lives up to its claim of being balanced, innovative and powerful. Unlike other bats, the CF6 is very responsive, and it doesn’t feel heavy in the hands even when struck with power.
The style and looks don’t hurt either, and the difference is something you’ll notice the moment you hold the bat.
But the CF6 from DeMarini baseball doesn’t just impress in the looks department but the implementation of innovative designs as well. The 2 piece D-Fusion handle is an outstanding concept that allows batters to swing like they would on a 2014 Easton xl1.
You feel the power in your hands. Moreover, the Paradox Composite handle does exactly what it should, and that is providing superior energy transfer from barrel to bat. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know it works, as you just need to use the bat to notice the difference.
Lesley
I definitely love this DeMarini bat, but I can’t decide between this and the 2015 Easton Mako you just did a review on. I definitely like the feel of the 2 Piece D-Fusion handle on this CF6 so I’ll probably go with this one.
Jonathan Collier
Like Lesley, I love this bat too and gonna buy it. Thanks for your review.
