Searching for the best BBCOR bats 2014 can be difficult given the number of choices that are available today. Plus the fact that everyone seems to have their own opinion regarding which is best.
However, you don’t need to spend hours researching online. The following BBCOR bats are what most would consider the cream of the crop.
#1.
2014 DeMarini CF6 WTDXCFC BBCOR (-3)
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR is rightfully considered as one of the finest drop 3 BBCOR bats due to its unique build.
The 2014 Cf6 was manufactured especially for college and high school players who are looking for power and grip.
With its carbon reinforced Paradox composite construction, the Cf6 combines durability with superior performance. The one of a kind barrel technology expands the sweet spot so you’ll have an easier time hitting.
At the same time, the bat provides additional flexibility which you cannot find in other baseball bats.
The design looks simple, but inside it is a complex piece with multiple layers that provide strength while maintaining a slim shape.
In addition, the bat is built to last. There’s no need to worry that it will snap in two when you take a hard swing. This is why it is one of the best BBCOR bats 2014.
Thanks to the way the bat was created, it can flex much more than the average baseball bat. There’s also a patented Thermo Fused taper that makes the sweet spot perform better than most bats on the market today.
What this means is that with the accurate placement inside, your swing will be more reliable and dependable. Coupled with the half and half construction and high strength, you get better control.

Easton Bb11X3 Xl3 Aluminum -3 BBCOR Baseball Bat
The Easton Bb11X3 Xl3 is another one of the better BBCOR baseball bats available today. This is thanks to its combination of fine style, durability and reliability.
The most important feature here is the THT100 scandium alloy. Research shows is one of the most effective materials you can use in a baseball bat.
Unlike other materials, THT100 scandium alloy expands the sweet spot on the bat without sacrificing durability, allowing you to play and swing with confidence.
The Easton Bb11X3 Xl3 also sports a very slim 31/32″ handle. This is ideal for power optimization when hitting, and the barrel is longer than most.
There’s a good reason for this, since it expands the hit zone while increasing the sweet spot at the same time. In other words the bat was designed for players who like power.
However, this power doesn’t come with any compromise when it comes to design. The grip is better than most other baseball bats being sold in the market.
#3.
DeMarini 2014 Voodoo Paradox WTDXVDC BBCOR Baseball Bat
The DeMarini 2014 Voodoo Paradox is a powerful baseball bat with an X10 alloy barrel that was shaped in the thinnest possible manner.
What this means is that the DeMarini 2014 Voodoo Paradox has a bigger sweet spot than others. But without the heavy weight that comes with other baseball bats.
In addition, the Paradox Handle gives you a stronger handle, making it more responsive than others.
The DeMarini 2014 Voodoo Paradox also uses superior Taper Ring Technology to keep the barrel walls slim and the bulkiness to a minimum.
However, the features don’t end there. The Ion V End Cap design prevents vibration, one of the biggest problems that make bats difficult to swing.
Finally, the RCK Knob feature allows the bat to settle in your hands comfortably. Compared to other baseball bats, you won’t feel any discomfort when you make a big swing.
#4.
Easton 2014 MAKO BB14MK BBCOR Baseball Bat (-3)
The Easton 2014 baseball bat was built with speed and power in mind. To achieve this goal the company used the latest technological innovations during the building process.
One of the highlights here is the use of TCT Thermo Composite Technology. It increases the sweet spot so you’ll have greater success with hitting that home run out of the park.
Furthermore, the same technology allows for the greater bat speed, something that other baseball bats will be hard pressed to match.
However, there are many other powerful features on the Easton 2014 baseball bat that make it worthy of inclusion in the list of the best BBCOR bats 2014 list.
For instance, the Eaton has a unique two-piece Connexion technology that optimizes energy transfer so when you swing there’s full power behind it.
And the other thing that should be pointed out is that even though this is a drop 3, it is lightweight so it doesn’t take a lot of effort to swing it.

Rawlings BBCA 5150 Alloy Baseball Bat (BBCOR and BESR Approved)
The Rawlings BBCA has many outstanding features, and chief among them is the barrel design that provides maximum balance.
In addition, the bat uses special metal forming methods and Aerospace grade 5150 alloy so it won’t break even when played under intense conditions.
Unlike other baseball bats, the Rawlings is very light, and the design promotes better grip.
The grip is synthetic leather, and as many reviewers have noted, it does help keep the bat in your hand. It’s for this reason that the Rawlings is one of the best drop 3 BBCOR bats today.
There are a lot of other things that can be said about the Rawlings bat, but the one thing that should really be noted is its superior bat speed brought about by the thinner barrel at the bat’s end.
In addition, the bat uses Precision-Optimized Performance (pOp) Technology for maximum barrel flex and trampoline.
If you’re looking for a dependable baseball bat, then the Rawlings is definitely worthy of consideration.

Great information on these bats, it’s hard to know what to choose. We love Easton bats but at the same time we know that Lousiville Sluggers use the best in technology to make the best bats so how do you choose? I guess I should buy both!

We started using RIP It bats. We first bought a 2012 Prototype 2 and instantly feel in love we had never before used a bat with so much POP! IT was incredible, then we got a chance to get a salesman sample Prototype model B1303 the 2013 version and never wanted to use any other bat again. RIP Its are affordable and have a 30 day love it or return warranty that gives you all your money back up to 30 days of purchase if you decide you don’t like the bat!!! Who else does that?
jeff
I’ll have to check out the RIP It bats for the upcoming 2016 series. Thanks for the comment and recommendation!
jeff
@Lesley – I love Easton bats as well but I also love the Rawlings and DeMarini bats too. I’ve been working a lot of college baseball games lately in the SEC and it’s amazing how many of these bats they actually use.
David
What would you recommend for someone who is just starting out with the BBCOR bats and is looking for something to use, hopefully, throughout their high school career? Thanks in advance!
jeff
Hi David,
If you’re just starting out and want a bat to last you won’t go wrong with any of these listed on the page. The Mako gets the best reviews but as I write this comment the DeMarini Voodoo is on sale with a major price cut.
Brian Sommers
Have you had a chance to look at the 2014 Rip It Air Elite? Or the 2015’s out now??
I would appreciate your comments on it – 2014 is on sale now $299. While the 2015 is $399
Thanks
jeff
Hi Brian,
I’m in the midst of gathering all my information for the 2015 bats. I will post those reviews and links right on this page. This page will go from 2014’s to 2015’s.
The 2014 Rip-It BBCOR has a ton of great reviews. There aren’t enough reviews on the 2015 yet so I’m hesitant to recommend it.
My first 2015 BBCOR review is going to be the Mizuno Generation. They are actually sending me one in the mail soon! Can’t wait!

Just picked up a DeMarini CF6 BBCOR for under $100 new on ebay… Seems a lot of bat for such a small price now the 2015 CF7 has been released.. Guess no surprise there..
jeff
Glad you got the bat! Ebay is great if you can bid lower. Not my thing though. More often than not for me personally the bidding wars always go higher than what I can buy the bat straight up for on Amazon with free Prime two day shipping.
